I read this book because I’ve heard it’s quite similar to おやすみプンプン. To some extent it is, because it’s a book based on kids, and not the naive kids you assume, but violent and sad and broken kids. In a sense the alien is also a kid who doesn’t understand evil. I like this kind depiction of broken kids – it’s kind of like forcing me to both recognize that they are just kids, and also recognize that there are some quite adult-like or adult-influenced behaviors in them. 

Anyway, back to the story itself. The story is quite weird TBH, but I quite like the sudden change starting from the second half of the book. It’s not as good as おやすみプンプン, but it has its own weird kind of charm.

Ah, makes me want to read Manga again.
