I tried to read the historical story written in ancient times but couldn’t finish it. So I picked up this book in the hope that it is able to carry me all the way through, and it did. The author did a beautiful job at adapting this classic story into something that suits the modern reader. I liked how it depicted the love between Achilles and Patroclus and the war that gave glory and pain to people from both sides. It’s not life changing, but just a beautiful story.
